2 hour delay

Evan's alarm goes off at 7 am.  We try and turn lights on and 'warn' him that 7 am is approaching.  This morning I went into his room, had a conversation with him and I left to get ready myself.  7:20 is the magical time when everyone is supposed to be downstairs ready for breakfast.  At 7:19 I leave my room get to the steps and look in Evan's room.  He is STILL IN BED.  Here is our conversation.

me:  get out of bed, it is 7:20
evan:  oh.  I thought there was a 2 hour delay today
me:  what?
evan:  I thought there was a 2 hour delay today
me:  No, why would you think that?
evan:  because you didn't yell at me this morning to get out of bed.
me:  (voice raised) GET OUT OF BED and GET MOVING!

I guess the lesson of the morning was if I don't raise my voice nothing will get done.  Lovely.
