Turn about is fair play.

The other morning I packed the boys lunch and set it on the table for them to put in the backpacks after breakfast.  Hayden was done with breakfast, went and got his coat on, zipped up his backpack and put it on his back and there sat his lunch.  Evan then makes the statement 'I am glad I am bright enough to remember to my lunch bag in my backpack before I zip it up.'  I got on him and said that wasn't nice and not a big deal.  So off the boys go outside to catch the bus.  Next thing I know Hayden is walking in and then says 'man Evan's backpack is heavy, he asked me to come and get it.'  I told him to put it down immediately and tell Evan to get his own backpack.  Evan came in disgusted and said 'I was already to the end of the driveway.'  My response.  'So, at least your brother was bright enought to take his backpack with him.'  He got mad and said 'if I can't joke around like that you can't either.'  My response, 'have a great day at school'.
