Creative?

Evan had to create an invention of his choosing and keep an invention journal along with make a commercial or poster to advertise.  I will let his commercial speak for itself.

Cards.

Evan got into the action of making a card, Hayden was leaving him in the dust!  Evan made this card for Chris.  Look carefully to see what it says.

At the top is King Chris, Sir Evan, Sir Hayden and Sir Keeth.

Then, Daddy you are the king of my life.

Simon (and Sadie) gave me this card for my birthday.

Happy Birthday/Valentines Day.

These were delivered today :)

Pretty Princess.

Since we don't have girls our dog Sadie is our pretty princess.

Hayden asked me this evening when my birthday was and I said next week.  He got all excited and said I have to make you a card, will you help me.  I said no daddy can help you when he gets back from Florida and I leave for Chicago.  Ok.  It was bath time so upstairs I sent them.  And then after multiple times of telling them to start the bath water they never did.  I went upstairs and Hayden is concerned about finding plain white paper to make me 7 cards.  After your bath you can start a card.  In the bath he says this is going to be your best birthday ever, what do you want?  I replied with I don't need anything but to hang out with you guys.  No, he said you need a dress.  Daddy will buy you a dress and I will make you 7 cards.  I hope I can get done with all of them before next week.  So here I type this and Hayden is upstairs working on masterpiece #1, 2-7 will have to wait until later.

Evan is oblivious to it all.

Uh oh, Hayden just told me he is changing plans.  He is going to give me my card even though it isn't my birthday.

Damage.

We are pulling out of the garage today and Evan sees that the garage wall looks like this.

He says 'what happened to the wall?  mommy did you hit the wall?'   Chris thought it was hilarious, me not so much.  No I didn't hit the wall, have I ever hit the garage wall?  Evan says, 'well no but you did hit Danny's truck in the driveway one time.'  Fine, you are correct but no I didn't hit the wall.  Home improvement, eventually.
