Graphic Material.

This is our evening tonight.  Guys go upstairs and put on your pajamas.  Go upstairs.  What did I say, go upstairs and put on your pajamas.  Have you brushed your teeth?  No, brush your teeth.  Brush your teeth.  Go brush your teeth.  Evan did you go to the bathroom?  Go to the bathroom.  Hayden from the bathroom says 'I haven't brushed my teeth yet because I am doing my best work of the day.'  Nice.  Wonder who he learned that from?   (trust me I thought of taking a picture, but changed my mind.... your welcome).

This is after Sunday night when Evan was walking upstairs and said 'Daddy you just piss me off'.  He said it with kind of a laugh but when Chris and I stopped dead in our tracks and looked at him he knew something was up.  We said he shouldn't say that, it isn't showing respect.  Then came tears and 'I'm sorry I didn't know.' He is soooooo sensitive.

NFL Experience

Have I ever said that our boys really aren't sports fans?  Well they aren't.  So we prepped them today as we made our way downtown for the Super Bowl XLVI festivities by telling them, 'it will be cold, it will be crowded, and it is all football and only football.  We don't want to hear a complaint or a can we go home now out of either of you.'  Well it was cold and it was CROWDED and they did fine.  I think they decided to keep their mouths shut because we were going to their favorite restaurant when we were done, Weber Grill.  Here are some pictures from our afternoon taking in what Indy has to offer for the Superbowl!

100 days of school.

This week the boys celebrated 100 days of school.  Hayden created a hat and punched 100 holes with a hole punch in it.  Evan, it was a non event.

Sadie's new past time is to steal socks out of the boys closet and drag them around the house.  I am a little concerned that she has been hanging out with Chris and I to long and she feels that everything needs to be in order as she made a perfect semi circle with the socks.....

Murder in Margaritaland

Chris and I went to a theme party last evening, Murder in Margaritaland.  Everyone has a character that they play and someone ends up 'dying' and we have to figure out who the killer is.  Our characters for the evening were Thurston Howard III, a millionaire visiting the island with his girlfriend Candy Cotton.  There is only one picture to prove that we actually looked like this.

Who is Ms. Croft?

Evan is becoming increasingly interested in the stock market and the trends of stocks.  On many occasions he will ask daddy to pull up the stocks on his phone.  We got to discussing that maybe Evan should invest an imaginary $100 in a company and follow it to see what it does.  He thought about it and said I can't invest in Apple because their stock is $400 a share (and he was correct).  He thought some more and said how about Ms. Croft?  What?  Evan what is Ms. Croft?  'The windows company'  ?? 'Bill Gates'.  Oh, Microsoft.  After a good laugh by all it was time for bed. 

Christmas 2011.

Where does time go?  Santa visited our house for the 9th year.  The major gift from us for the boys was obviously our trip to Disney World but Santa didn't forget about them.  They got Legos, a reading chair, remote control helicopter and an underwater something or another....

After Christmas the purging began.  I cleaned out every room in the house.  Out with the old and in with the new.

Nicknames and more Florida pics.

While in Florida Hayden decided that we all needed nicknames.  I am 'Lewis' (this is pronounced LLLLLLLewis, I love the way he says it).  Chris is Honeydew (Ha!!), Hayden was PTO (???? who knows) and Evan was Joford (again, who knows).
